12-Year Old Treated Asphalt
Developed and proven for use for the Army Corp of Engineers and the United States Air Force over 40 years ago. Asphalt Rejuvenation and seal coating are designed to replace the oils that are lost during the asphalt aging. This aging – asphalt oxidation, is the process in which the effects of the suns rays, water and air – H20. Bleach out the light oils in the pavement top inch of the surface. Once a asphalt rejuvenator / sealer is introduced to the asphalt surface it penetrates into the surface carrying and replacing oils and seals the surface with RT-12 oils from the harmful effects of fuel and oil that air craft and cars may do to the surface. The product has been proven by testing preformed with in the United States by the FAA, independent testing labs for over 40 years. These test have shown that the product reverses the asphalt age by lowering the viscosity of the oil in the pavement and and increases flexibility of pavement. These test are very important because for a product to be a true asphalt rejuvenator it has to lower the viscosity not just for the first 30 days yet also for years and keep the viscosity lowered. Our product does this and more. For over 25 years we have been applying rejuvenators to asphalt roadways and parking lots and they out preform other coating products like seal coats. Because, rejuvenators penetrate into the surface. Once they penetrate into the surface they carrie needed oils and RT-12 into and under the surface. This is why we offer a Three Year Performance Warranty. We warrant that the product will not peal, flake off the surface. We also warrant that the product will not case the surface to crack in the material / rejuvenator, like seal coats / paint tend to do to asphalt surfaces. The third and final portion of the warranty is that the viscosity will be lowered after treatment of the rejuvenator. 
If the client desires to have the asphalt tested we warrant that the product will lower the viscosity in the top 1” of the asphalt surface. That the asphalt surface will stay lower compared to untreated asphalt. This is important because by lowering the viscosity you will see less cracks develop in the asphalt surface, due to the asphalt having rejuvenating oils in the asphalt and that the asphalt has increased flexibility. If left untreated the surface starts to dry out. This is why when airports managers, HOA – home owners associations and shopping centers developers look to see how the product preforms they find when comparing 2, 4 and even 6 year old rejuvenated asphalt looks the same dark color from curb to curb. That there is no wear from the product. So curb appeal is kept longer and the customers maintenance dollars are stretched longer over the pavement life.
